Nightlife in both Krakow and Warsaw has flourished over the last decade and the number of bars, nightclubs and live music venues is forever increasing. Have a quick look at the clientele before entering some quiet bars as some of the old bars frequented by mainly locals aren’t used to bunches of travellers popping in.
If you want to pursue a nocturnal activity which doesn’t involve going to a bar or nightclub, there are theatres all over the country. Unfortunately finding one which stages English speaking performances is extremely difficult. The same applies to the cinema.
The Poles have a very keen interest in soccer and if you are there when the season is running catching a game at night is one of the best ways to spend an evening.
